After looking at all of the service and accommodations offered in housing and dining by Purdue University, we have concluded that the needs of students are indeed met. Food services are accessible during reasonable hours and good meal choices are available for students to make. The rooms and dorms have sufficient amenities for the purposes of a student.

As is the case in many situations, Purdue does some things right, but there is always room for improvement. Many students would like to see larger rooms with more privacy available between roommates. Also, more variety to the foods offered as well as extended hours are desired by students.

In comparison the University of Illinois and California, Purdue University does well with its services. Many students feel that the food and housing is at least adequate at Purdue in all categories. The University of Illinois scores poorly in our survey with respect to dining and students at Berkeley find the housing extremely expensive. Purdue also seems to have the best quality of food while Illinois lacks in all areas of housing and dining.

By putting this website together we hope to provide a resource for perspective students and parents to use when making a decision on on-campus housing. The University also provides information on Purdue housing and dining, but we have also shown other college accommodations. Enjoy!
